From secretary to personal assistant, Tammy Mazzocco worked her way up in the real estate business one step at a time. She became a licensed Realtor in 1995 under the tutelage of Mike Zelnick of The Edwards Realty Company. Mazzocco soon specialized in condominium and multi-site property management and became a full-time Realtor in 1999.
Mazzocco joined Judy Gang & Associates in 2000 to sell real estate in the Central Ohio counties of Franklin, Licking, Delaware, and Fairfield. She has a close mentoring bond with Judy Gang herself and is currently one of the premier Realtors of New Albany, Ohio.
In a January 2017 interview with IdeaMensch, Tammy Mazzocco says that real estate found her rather than the other way around. She had good mentors who encouraged her to get licensed. She would tell her younger self to be fearless and never settle for anything less than perfect. In her early days as a Realtor, she was uncomfortable discussing finances with clients, but she practiced what she would say to them beforehand to become more accustomed to the idea.
Tammy Mazzocco is a methodical thinker who believes in careful planning and brainstorming to bring ideas to life. One of the most important ways she can make a sale is by meeting a client face-to-face to get an idea of the kind of person they are. She believes in word-of-mouth and recommendations rather than using the internet to make connections. She does use Follow Up Boss to stay in contact with clients, though, and she recommends Dr. Phil’s book Life Strategies.
