Following the launch of Microsoft’s windows 10, the company is now working to make two high-end phones which will be running on the software. The two Lumia phones are codenamed Cityman and Talkman. Microsoft is taking the same approach as Apple, by releasing two different devices that are very similar as far as the specs are concerned but with different displays.
FreedomPop suggests that among the two phones, Cityman is being designed as the flagship phone for the new windows 10. The phone is set to have a 5.7 inch display. It will feature a Qualcomm octa-core processor and a RAM of 3GB. The rear camera will have 20 mega pixels while the front camera will have 5 megapixels.
To access the battery and the microSD supplementing the internal storage, one will have to remove the rear cover. The phone will have the new Continuum feature, which will give it the ability to transform into a PC.
Talkman will be slightly smaller than its counterpart, with a 5.2 inch QHD display. All the other features are similar to Cityman except for the Qualcomm hexa-core processor. Both devices will also feature a triple-LED flash, that will be able to support varying tones for photos.
Windows 10 is set to ship for PCs during the summer. The phone version will come a little bit later. The two new Lumia phones will ship for windows 10 later on in the year.
