Perry Mandera, the founder of Custom Companies, has been an executive of the company for the past 30 years. With his tremendous track record, Perry Mandera has been recognized by the Illinois State as one of the “Top 100 American Transportation Executive.” In addition, he has received other two awards in the same state. One awarded to him by the State Crime Commission in 2010 and the other in 2011.

However, Perry continues to strive to give back to his community. Starting as a truck driver in the U.S. Marine reserve helped Perry Mandera appreciate that work.   1. He is Selfless

One of the most amusing thing with Perry Mandera is his selfless nature. In fact, he created a charity within his company known as The Custom Companies Charities.

Furthermore, he has helped provide disaster relief efforts in nearly all-natural devastations in and out of his state. For example, in 2013 Perry Mandera gladly donated his transportation services to aid those who were affected.

The company ferried many from the highly afflicted areas to the less afflicted areas while also providing food and supplies to those in such areas.


  1. He Once Held a Position in a Political Office

In 1984, Perry Mandera developed an interest in politics. In the same year, he was elected to the position of the Republican Ward Committeeman in Chicago. That made him to be the youngest person to be elected in service.

However, this didn’t fit well with Perry Mandera. Although he was venturing out to help his community, politics wasn’t easy for him, and so in 1988 he resigned out of office to start his own company.


  1. He Developed his Passion for the Transportation Sector at a Young age

Perry Mandera developed a passion for transportation when he left high school. In fact, in 1975, Perry decided to join the U.S. Marine corps reserves where he worked as a driver.

Perry Mandera continues to help many through various fronts. For starters, Custom Companies, his company, continues to employ people of various ethnicity and expertise. On the other hand, he continues to give back to the community through Charity.
